Have you or someone you know ever tried to quit smoking, but just can’t seem to defeat the addiction? Don’t worry, there are lots of people in the same boat as you. You know you ought to quit, you want to quit, but you just can’t pull it off.
Now with a solution called Chantrix there’s no reason to let the need for nicotine dictate your actions any longer. The ordinary quit smoking products on the market try to wean you off cigarettes by supplying your body with small doses of nicotine. Using the cause of your addiction this way to help you quit is definitely not a good way to go about. Adding the toxic even in smaller quantity often doesn’t make it any easier at all to fully quit.
What is the secret of Chantix?
As stated above, most common methods of smoking treatment include nicotine in the process. Though the dose gets smaller and smaller over time, your body is still being allowed to obtain what it craves. As with similar fat diet schemes this generally leads you back to the old addiction habits that started the whole thing in the first place.Chantrix uses absolutely no nicotine additives in treatment, and gives the consumer a greater likelihood of attaining their long-term goal of absolute freedom. Chantix partially activates the nicotine receptors in the brain thereby minimizing the craving for the toxic and withdrawal symptoms. Should smoking be resumed, the effects of nicotine on the brain are diminished reducing the craving for nicotine.
What do the Tests say?
The success rate of this prescription medicine has proved to be a lot higher than its top competitors. At the end of a 12 week period at two different clinical trials Chantix came out on the top with incredible 44% success rate. This number is not only by itself very impressive, but it completely blows away its nearest competitor by a solid 14%.
Is it safe for me?Chantix has shown to be generally well tolerated. However, in some cases the side effects can involve nausea, sleep disorder, headache and decreased appetite. Even though Chantix has no known drug interactions, it is recommended to notify your doctor if taking insulin, asthma medicine or blood thinners. Pregnant and breastfeeding woman as well as children under 18 years old should not use the medication without notifying a doctor.
Will you get rid of the addiction?
While regarded as one of the greatest stop smoking product, Chantix still (as all these kind of products) relay on you for it to succeed. I can tell you right now that you can’t and won’t stop smoking unless you really want to and dedicate yourself to a life of healthy freedom. Just face it, a miracle pill that makes the addiction vanishs in a second doesn’t exist. But with a positive and determined attitude, Chantix is one of the best complements in the way to a better life. Just by reading this you’ve already shown that you are ready to take the first step. It’s up to you, I know you can do it!

i need to find someplace where i can get my meds. i was taken chantiz and it was working fior me. I have a prescription but for some reason my insurance has declined my refills. please help me, i really do want to STOP smoking not just for myself but also for my grand children.
Hi apacheblue,
It’s a good thing that you really want to quit. The key is really about willpower. No method works without will but if you want it hard enough it doesn’t matter which method you choose. Just pick out the one that suits you and your economy the most. I don’t really know what you should do with the insurance declining your refills. If buying Chantix from AmeriMediRX is to expensive search through this blog and see if you find another method that suits for you or just use your willpower alone. Lots of people have used willpower to quit smoking and if they can do it, so can you. You just have to BELEIVE IT!
I wish you Good Luck and a long, healthy smokeless life!

I thought i would never be able to quit smoking. I have tried everything even took the “smoke sensations” class to learn all about the hazzards of smoking… and still lit up. I have heard nothing but good things about chantix and talked to my doctor about it. I called the “quit for life” line and registered for a support sponsor (on line) and have been taking the meds for 13 days,, it is a wonderful thing. I am NOT crabby or anxious…..i recommend this medication to anyone who is interested in quitting for life..it really does work.. TAhis is comming from a 2 pack a day smoker and have been smoking since i was 16 years old. That is 33 years…. WOW This time i really do think i am gonna Make IT… What a great Christmas present to give my daughter…!!!!!I wnat to be smoke-free by then…Wish me Luck……..
Hi Donna,
Thanks for your great story. It really warms me when I hear those success stories. I’m sure you will succed and never touch a cigarette again and it will be the best christmas present your daughter ever experienced.
I for sure am still overwhelmed by my old mother still not touching cigarettes after being clean for months now. I’m so proud of her.
I wish you the best of luck Donna.
Beleive in yourself and you will reach any goal.

Hi… I’m 62 and have been smoking for 45 years… that’s right… 45 years! For as long as I can remember, I’ve been smoking three packs a day - 60 cigarettes! I started Chantix seven days ago, and was not intending to reduce my smoking during that first week (which is what Chantix says), but from day one, I started smoking less. The first day I smoked 25 cigarettes, then 18, then 14, then 13, then 11, and yesterday, I hit the single digits… only 9 cigarettes! I can’t tell you how much of a miracle this is to me and my family… no one ever thought I’d be able to quit smoking… I know today was supposed to be my “Quit Day”, but I just wasn’t ready. I’m going to try and keep reducing the number of cigarettes I smoke… one question… what is that “quit for life” program that Donna was talking about?
Hi Barry,
Way to go! As I always say, it’s never too late to quit. If not for yourself then always think about your family and children.
Even if you didn’t make the quit day, you still made a enormous progress going from 60 to 9 cigarettes a day.
You should be proud of yourself and keep going until the cravings of cigarette is gone forever.
Berry, I love to hear from you again when you’re down to 0 cigarettes a day.
The quit for life program that Donna was talking about I think could be this: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/Tobacco/quitline.html
Donna, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
And if you read this Donna, please write and tell me of your progress. I’m curious…

Well, I did it! I had zero cigarettes yesterday! It was a little rough at times, but definitely manageable… Today actually seems a little bit easier… I just can’t tell you how excited I am… Twelve days ago, I was smoking three packs a day, and now, not even one… I really am amazed with how well Chantix has worked…
Great to hear! Congratulations Barry!
If you haven’t thought out something to reward yourself with yet, I think you should. Make this effort something to remember.
Now just see to it that you always stay clean.
I wish you good luck and a healthy life.
God Bless!

what is the regimen for taking the pills. I’ve heard different things. How many pills a day and for how often?
I’m forgetful and wonder if I’ll be able to remember to take them throughout the day.
Jackie
Hi Jackie,
You start out taking 1 pill per day for the first 3 days.
From day 4-7 you take 1 pills in the morning and 1 in the evening.
After that you take 2 pills in the morning and 2 in the evening for a period of 12 weeks.
For some people 12 weeks is enough, however many people need an additional 12 week period.
