From the moment you light up your cigarette, there will be smoke coming out and when you put it in between your mouth and inhale the smoke, you are actually inhaling poison.
There are pesticides in cigarettes. Pesticides are chemicals used to kill pests such as insects.
Can you imagine inhaling the pesticides into your body? You are inhaling the poison and killing yourself slowly as it takes time for the poison to build up to become fatal.
There are three pesticides that were undetectable previously but recently they have come into the light when researchers who have been working hard day and night found these three pesticides in cigarettes.
The pesticides are:
- Flumetralin - This chemical is known to be toxic to humans, and is carcinogenic. It’s an endocrine disruptor, and its use on tobacco plants has been banned in Europe.
- Pendimethalin - This is another endocrine disrupter that targets the thyroid specifically. Pendimethalin is carcinogenic and toxic to humans.
- Trifluralin - Like the other two pesticides mentioned, trifluralin is an endocrine disrupter, is toxic to humans and is carcinogenic.
